The Redrock Trailing shoe is the optimum method of grass fertilisation. The trailing slurry applicator combs vegetation sideways so that the slurry is directly applied to the ground underneath without contaminating the sward. The ground can then be slurried further into the growing cycle and can continue to be grazed.

The Sprung slurry applicators glide easily through the ground, and uneven areas and stones are easily negotiated due to the unit dual sprung arms. With working widths up to 7.2m, ground is covered fast and work rates are high.

The controls are all hydraulically operated, making the Redrock Trailing Shoe one of the most user friendly machines on the market. Importantly, there are no electrical controls left sitting exposed during winter months.

The unit’s patented stone trap system, designed by Redrock, helps protect the blades in the macerator, with a spider-type wheel pushing foreign objects such as stones into the disposal chamber to reduce the likelihood of blockages occurring.

Durability and ease of maintenance are two of the main features of this machine. The macerator unit also has an independent sealed stainless steel shaft, which is separate from the hydraulic motor, leaving the motor free from any contamination in the event of seal failure.

The Redrock Trailing shoe is eligible for the METS scheme under the Farm Modernisation programme.
