On 29th October 2009, the Directors of Redrock Engineering Limited appointed John J Cavanagh of Cavanagh Kelly Chartered Accountants & Insolvency Practitioner as administrator with the aim of rescuing the Company after it hit major financial difficulties due to the current economic downturn.

The Company has been in business for over 33 years and employs 80 people. It is a major exporter of high quality agricultural and construction machinery into the Irish, UK and European markets.

The Company has consistently made significant investment in research and development of new products to enable it to remain at the forefront of the agricultural and construction industries.

Redrock Engineering Limited will continue to trade in the interim and it is the intention of the Administrator to sell the business as a going concern.
